Five of our communities offer after-school enrichment programs and a summer camp program for children in grades K-5 who live in the community. These are offered free of charge to the residents. The programs in our Atlanta Adventure Centers are under the direction of and run by Mission 1:27, a non-profit, faith-based organization with the primary mission of assisting single parent families with the tremendous challenges they face. The Adventure Center at Walton Oaks in Augusta is operated by Hope for Augusta. Children receive afternoon snack, homework help, Bible teaching, character-building, crafts, music, art, drama and sports activities. They have themed program curriculum and take field trips to places of interest.
